Hooray!

So, it turns out that maybe partners in marriage getting an education (that means the man AND the woman), along with those women who WANT to work being able to do so, means good things for marriage.


Divorce rates are on a downward trend.

Imagine, that waiting until both parties have a little more life experience (not that they necessarily put marriage off indefinitely or for selfish reasons), are better educated, and have a little more financial flexibility within marriage, can mean a better chance at a successful marriage!! Groundbreaking.


I feel so validated. Not that a lack of feeling validated would make me change my life plan at all. But it's nice.

Rain, rain, go away!

So usually I like rain. I enjoy running in it, I like the way the wet earth smells, and it makes my flowers grow. I usually like rain.

It has rained more days than not the last two months. I can't find statistics, and if I'd had half a clue, I'd have kept track.

Add to that the fact that we've got rain in the forecast for six of the next ten days, I'm starting to get bugged.

I just want to see the sun again!
